The Start of this Website and Blog

Travel, photography, and meaningful experiences had, until now, been limited to a small circle of viewers.
Most of the time, they were confined to a few appearances on Instagram, to myself, and to my computer.
Much ends up being forgotten, and many good stories remain silent.
Something, even if subtly, always bothered me. The end of a photograph or of an experience lived in the field touches many layers of individual need. Photography can be a way to disconnect from everyday life, or a means to deepen one’s experience in nature. Yet, after the click of the camera and the transfer of images to the computer, I felt that the process remained unfinished.
Printing the photographs was not an option — not only for financial reasons, but also due to the lack of space to hang or display the images.
That is where the idea of creating this website and blog came from. Not an original idea, admittedly, but one that was missing from my range of activities.
Honestly, I recognize that the desire to share is far from a need for validation of my photography or recognition. At the same time, I do appreciate the messages, Instagram “likes,” and comments.
I also do not seek a financial path or the foundation of a professional photography career. Still, I would never refuse a request for a print or the publication of an image — something that has, in fact, happened before.
I do not know how far this blog or website will reach. Perhaps no one, perhaps just a few. Yet I am fully aware that life is a breath, a blink of an eye — like an image made with a short exposure, where light is something precious and fleeting.
Having the opportunity to create this website, and to share through a blog, gives me a renewed sense of purpose. Not only in sharing experiences, but also in building some form of legacy — even if that legacy is directed only toward myself and my own purpose.
With this, I begin this website with the feeling that unique moments are happening all the time, and that it would be a shame not to preserve them for posterity, like a diary.
Although I am currently in Germany, I begin this blog from where I departed: Rio de Janeiro. Perhaps the first images and stories will come from my place of origin, without any intention of following a predefined path. I let the content unfold like life itself — carried by its own flow.
Welcome, and thank you for any kind of interaction.
