I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I am currently based in Bonn, Germany.
I am a passionate landscape and nature photographer, and I created this website as a space to share and present my work in a more complete and personal way.
My journey into photography did not begin with a clear plan or artistic ambition. It started with a deep interest in nature and wildlife, combined with my fascination with the power of photography — especially street and documentary photography — to tell stories and capture meaningful moments.
Driven by a desire to improve my skills, I gradually integrated photography into my professional work in sustainability. Over time, this naturally expanded into documenting my outdoor adventures and sport. Traveling through different regions and countries allowed me to experience remarkable landscapes and encounter diverse cultures and ways of life, all of which shaped my photographic perspective.
Photography eventually became a way for me to slow down from modern life. It helps me stay present, observe more carefully, and connect more deeply with the natural world. In this sense, it is both a way to disconnect from everyday busyness and to reconnect with a more introspective and spiritual space.
I have learned that powerful images are not found only in dramatic or remote locations. Iconic and well-known places are undeniably inspiring, but for me, the strongest connections often emerge in quiet moments — when light, weather, and atmosphere align in subtle ways.
My work focuses on portraying nature as I experience it, with patience, respect, and curiosity. Many of my images present the landscape in a pure form, as if untouched by human presence. At the same time, I increasingly believe that including humanity within the landscape is also an honest and meaningful way to document our constantly changing world.
This website is a collection of those moments. Through these images, I hope to share how it felt to be there.
The galleries focus primarily on landscapes from Germany, Portugal, and Brazil, alongside some of my explorations into wildlife photography.
I am also introducing a blog, where I share reflections, behind-the-scenes stories, and images that may not be technically perfect, but are meaningful within the context of storytelling.
I’m always happy to connect — thank you for being here.

Equipment
My path into photography began in the 1990s with a Minolta SLR and a simple kit lens. It was an analog beginning, shaped by curiosity and amazement.
In time, I moved to Canon, first with the EOS A2E and its then-remarkable eye-controlled autofocus — a small technological wonder that felt like a milestone. With limited resources and experience, my focus was still on learning rather than on equipment.
In the early 2000s, after moving to Berlin, a pocket-sized Nikon Coolpix accompanied me through the streets. It became an unexpected companion for street photography, and the world of film quietly faded into the background.
My true transition into digital photography came with the Canon 5D Mark II. It marked a turning point — not only in image quality, but in commitment. This was also the moment when my long-standing relationship with Zeiss prime lenses began.
As life and professional responsibilities grew, photography slowly stepped aside. The camera was present, but only occasionally, carried along on trips rather than shaping my everyday attention.
In 2023, without a clear reason or defining moment, photography returned so as the acquisition of a used Canon 5DS R, encouraging a more deliberate and thoughtful way of working.
Recently, a cycling accident removed sport from my life for several months. In the quiet that followed, photography took a deeper place — and with it, the idea to create this website and the a acquisition of the Canon EOS R5.
Today, I work primarily with my Canon and Zeiss setup and when shooting macros, with my Tamrons.
